An amazing restaurant. The service is impeccable, the food is excellent, and you will feel like the staff is hosting you in their space.

Its a decent option if you are shopping in the Stores of Merrick Park, convenient with a nice setting and ok service. Traditional Italian food. However if I am not shopping in the area, I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here, as food is very un-imaginative

Ordered the meatball for appetizer, mozzarella prosciutto panini and pasta with spinach/tomato with shrimp. Also, great place for outdoor sitting at the Shops of Merrick.

Great location with outdoor seating, looks a lot better than it is. Dated menu - little creativity.

This was probably the worst restaurant experience I had in my life. I ordered sauteed chicken Breast and had to wait 50 minutes until it came out I told the server why it's taking so long and she said it's because the chef is not used to all the commotion and I was the only one there so I don't see any commotion. I get my chicken and it turns out to be raw and you can even touch it in the middle it was cold, I sent it back and they gave me another one and it turned out to be burnt and I told the server that's it's burnt and she said they how it's cooked on the grill and I told her it's says on the item description it's sauteed in a pan not grilled. I left and I gave no tip and the server looked at me and said no tip

I love coming here and eating because it's a great environment but the manager of this place is the worst person and has the worst customer service you will ever see. He charged me full price on something that I didn't even ask for and they gave it to me on the house and when I asked if they can take it off after I paid, they couldn't. Never coming here again, if you want to get treated nasty by the manager do yourself a favor and don't come.

This is a high end restaurant. The place is cozy with friendly staff, great cocktails, and great food.

Great place to dine in Merrick Park Coral Gables. The lentil soup is awesome. The spaghetti and Chicken Parmiagiana are very good.

Really good place.Nice environment and good service. Food was really taste. The waitress helps to get our dishes separated because we love to share food. The price is fair compared with the quality. I said that I like the focaccia and they brought more.. very nice.. Highly recommend!

Went here on New Year's Day. Hadn't been here in a while. Service was soooo slow. Food was terrible. Very disappointing. We struggled to get our water glasses refilled; we were almost finished with our pasta before we finally got the attention of someone to ask for grated cheese, and the pasta really needed it. A bit overcooked with less than enough sauce, it was bland, simple, and inauthentic in any way. It reminded me of a dish of pasta I might expect from a low quality diner, not from an Italian restaurant. Couldn't wait to get out of there. Felt like a waste of money.

It was okay. Chicken was tasty. Service was good. But we had to turn in my moms plate TWICE for being undercooked. For a fancy place, thats unacceptable. Still the waiter and manager were very nice about it.

I love this place to eat. It is not only tasty food but elegant. This visit I found the waiters to be a little rough around the edges. Talking out loud between themselves. Our order was taken by the bus boy/girl not the waitress. The waitress only came after the meal was served. Still the food was tasty and hot when served.

The pink cream sauce on my dish tasted like Kraft mac and cheese. My mother in law received not only the wrong cut of steak, but it was so hard she couldn't cut it with the steak knife, then it took 30 minutes to get the correct dish. The red sauce was acidic. The bathroom was in shambles (litterally falling apart). And the wait staff were inattentive. Some of the party received decent food, but nothing amazing. For the price and the atmosphere I expected much more.

Really great bruscetta, nice toasty bread with tomatoes... my sister's porcini mushroom ravioli was very creamy and flavorful. My pineapple sorbet was in a cute frozen half pineapple. We were so hungry, I didn't get pics of the main dishes. Calamari was not crispy enough and the fried cucumber was too salty but most of entrées were good.

Food is good, their fruit gelatos are cool, as they come in the actual fruit.

Amazing! Exquisite salmon carpaccio and fabulous linguini with clams. Beautiful and great service.

Impeccable friendly service. Never rush you through meal. Great selection of soups, salads, antipasto and pasta dishes. I had the seafood risotto in a light tomato sauce. Wonderful tiramisu.

For my brothers birthday. His favorite. 10 people served with class outside, and then when it rained they moved us indoors in less than 2 minutes. Great service, good food. Wonderful atmosphere.

My husband and I came to the restaurant as he and I both enjoy having our date nights at different places and enjoy different kinds of foods. The service was great but the food not so great. He and I both ordered the stuffed artichoke which when it arrived looked like it had been sitting in the oven for quite a while because when you actually bite into it the leaves were very dry and there was more stuffing in it than artichoke.I then ordered the raviolis with mushrooms and chicken. The pasta was hard on the outside, not sure if from being undercooked or overcooked in the microwave. The saffron sauce was more of a Mac and cheese sauce, didn’t have any type of distinctive taste at all.My husband ordered the penne pasta which he claimed was not fresh, pre-heated in the microwave and had a lot of canned sundried tomato oil. Overall I’d say that the service was good but the food needs more improvement.

Villagio is a decent Italian restaurant. The key is to sit outside on their beautiful outdoor patio beneath the towering palms. The complementary bruschetta is bright and delicious. Pastas are nicely done and hit the spot. Salads are basic and a bit underwhelming. Service can be slow at times. The interior space is nothing special and the bathroom can be grossly neglected. A great place to enjoy with girlfriends or your mother — particularly with a glass of prosecco.

Always great to share with friends after work, enjoy a nice dinner and live the Italian experience with the great service, delicious food and clients that use to come here. My friend and I go to enjoy at the bar and chat with the people around.

Busy restaurant, had an excellent meal, dessert and coffee. Since we shared the abundant portions with my wife, the cost of lunch was mild.....

Service was excellent and so is the location. But the food was below average. We had the caprese salad. The bread was hard.

Great atmosphere, the staff are awesome, everyone is nice and helpful. The restaurant itself is nice, very clean and organized. The food was mediocre at best, small portions. The seafood soup was super Salty as was the pasta, to the point it was almost unediable. The lamb shank lacked flavor but was well cooked. The lentil soup was very good.we paid $107 for the dishes in the Pic with 1 better and a glass of prosecco. I'm giving 2 stars for the staff and atmosphere, if you're in the area you're better off at Sawa or yard house if you're looking for tasty food.
